ORCATORCH D550 is a small and light weight tail magnetic switch diving light. It is equipped with a totally sealed magnetic controlled tail switch which offers high waterproofness and easy operation underwater. Using the latest USA CREE XM-L2(U2) LED, max 720 lumens output and over 4 hours 30 minutes runtime, this portable diving light offers high and low two modes and one strobe mode for different diving environment use. Plus robust water pressure resistant construction, high portability and easy operation, D550 would be qualified for both recreational diving as a primary light and deep diving as a backup light.

Excellent as a backup flashlight

Take a while to receive it due to the health contingency situation by Covid19; but it was worth the wait. The orchatorch D550 is an excellent backup diving flashlight, in technical diving, although you can use it as a primary in the recreational without problems.
Tighten if you wear gloves

Good quality product but if you want to use on cold water with gloves, is quite uncomfortable. If you extend (fix) the fastening system, then it is perfect. Illuminates well considering size and power.

Bad after sales service

Bad after sales service. I've been asking for 5 days if the package should carry 1 or 2 batteries and I only receive generic emails automatically processed without the response. The chat does not respond either. And another opinion with 1 star and this comment is not added on the web. They only add those of 4 or 5 stars that interest them.

Brought as a back up to my Orcatorch D620, and a primay torch when on a single cyclinder, works prefectly as both. cracking torch, its the 100 Lumens model I have recived not the 970 Lumens.

Good quality and bright light underwater. Still, the beam is too bright if you use tha torch as the light source for taking photos.

The flashlight is good and would recomend it but i think the high runtime is exaggerated i charged it fully and and after 1h15min it started loosing power and was not able to shine at 970 lumens any more. The low setting is not enough and you cant use it in fairly clear water. That beeing said I´m still quite pleased with it and you can tell its good quality
