Beuchat Marlin Pacific:

- The barrel is made of a mix of teak wood and a carbon fiber profile

- The stiffness of the barrel is very strong whatever the load is

- No risk of bending due to the heat and the humidity of the sea

- Volume of the barrel has been optimised to obtain a perfect flotation

- Connections with the muzzle and the handle in contact with the carbon are very strong

- The barrel has been designed with an evolutive profile to help the lateral displacement

- The spear guide is directly designed in the wood for a silent shot

- 6.7mm diameter tahitian shaft made of rockwell steel with 3 hooks.

- Point with 3 cuts and a double barb with a 2.5mmdiameter stainless steel pin and a deflector

- 2 singles 16 mm diameter pure latex bands connected to dynema loops and dynema wishbones

- Performance:

For the 1150mm barrel with a 1500 mm shaft and 2 X 630 singel bands the performances are as follows:

- Load at the first hook: 41kg - lad at the seconf hook: 43kg. Total load : 318 joules.

- Maximum speed of the shaft 40 meters / second.

- Performances of the shots ( measurement taken as from the points of the shaft ): at 5.5 meters : lateral accuracy +/- 8cm- vertical accuracy + 8cm / - 15cm.

Any change of the bands, or the shaft or the line can modify the performance of the speargun.
