With the help of the vertical straps, the exclusive AKONA purge valve easily compresses any excess air out of the bag for a more lightweight and compact haul.
The 50-D (denier) Diamond ripstop material and fully taped seams are waterproof to protect the contents of your bag.
For double protection, the top seals out moisture with two different materials.
The straps easily buckle together. Simply pull the connected straps for the bag to be more tightly packed.

The sizes of this dry compression bag are not characteristic of functional size. When filled to maximum capacity and sealed (folded three times and clipped shut), the 22" (56cm) is reduced to 16" (40cm). The volume claim currently set (27 Jan 2010) is completely false. 1078 cubic inches = 17.6 litres. The actual capacity is about 9 - 10 litres (550 - 610 cubic inches) with the inner space used to its maximum, and closed. Other than this the bag performed well after being dunked under water (15cm depth), and rigorous showering. Good for a day trip, where minimal amounts of things are taken along. El volumen anunciado (27 Enero 2010) es completamente falso. 1078 pulgadas cúbicas = 17.6 litros El volumen es de 9-10 litros (550 - 610 pulgadas cúbicas) cuando esta llenado hasta máxima capacidad, y cerrada. Aparte de esto, el bolso funcionaba muy bien cuando se sumergió debajo de 15 cm de agua, y después de una ducha rigurosa. Bueno para pequeñas excursiones.
