The folding handle is a gimmick. It makes the handle flimsy and does not give a positive feel. The bracket on the bottom has a thin spot, right where the drag keys into the mount, and can easily crack (mine did). However, it's a light reel, has good line capacity, mounts easily (even to a railgun if you cut open the top) and the drag is somewhat functional, though could use a greater range of adjustment. I think they tried to add too many features to a good basic concept and wound up with something complex and fragile.
