I3 means -Eye 3- and represents a brand-new approach to expanding the field of vision laterally.
I3 LiquidSkin has a 3-window structure where the big front window in connected at a right angle to two side windows.
Objects to the side of the head can be seen through these side windows.
Objects approaching from behind are registered much earlier - an incredibly surprising effect that has never been seen in masks before. I3 LiquidSkin is jam-packed with Mares- cutting-edge technology: naturally, the mask features the most advanced Bi-Silicone technology.
Like liquid skin, the LiquidSkin masks adjust to practically any contour of the face. This is possible thanks to a stroke of genius of Mares- development department: a medium hard silicone which is about 30% harder than traditional silicone ensures the LiquidSkin masks- static.
A super soft and highly elastic silicone provides sealing at the face and extraordinary comfort. Compared to normal silicone, this silicone is about 45% softer ad 270% more elastic.
Apart from the better fit and unparalleled comfort, pressure marks after the dive are a thing of the past and equalizing is a breeze.
Thanks to its tri-comfort technology, the I3 LiquidSkin also offers a clear plus in terms of comfort because the frame is protected by liquid silicone on the inside of the skirt and coated with smooth lamellae.

For a better fit, the two-part mask strap has an x-shaped connection with integrated liquid silicone inserts.
