I have owned and dived with the Aqualand watch now for over 12 years, I have found the watch to be very reliable and accurate, the stored information is kept in its memory and the watch is very tough, though the cost of the rubber band is expensive, the batteries last about 2 years with normal use and it keeps time almost to within a second a year, I recommend this watch to anyone who dives or freedives, its good to see that Citizen is still producing this watch, happy diving..

Promaster is the best

I got this watch about six months ago, for diving and for everyday wear. It is the BEST watch you can buy even if the model is now old. I don"t like newer models because they don't look as resistant. Has all the functions you will need and is precise to the second after 6 months. Only con is that the strap is a little short when wearing over a suit (like most watches), I use the second to last hole and use a neoprene watch strap over it when diving 'cos I'm so paranoid about losing it.

I bought this watch in Panama in 1989 and still use it. I've seen many other dive computers and this watch is still the easiest to use and best in all-round functionality for the price. Highly recommended.

Great watch! Bought it 13 years ago (an aqualand 1) and I still love it for it´s design, massiveness and functions. Get one now, and an insurance for it, the 6 screws on the backside is not the best sollution... My watch fogged in Norway after a cold nightdive and the day after it checked out. Total repair for more than a new one was done by the insurance company, and I got to keep my old friend. :-)

This is an excellent watch, I bought mine back in 1989, I have replaced the IC board once and the strap, probably every 2 or 3 years. It keeps on going and going, it's tough, durable and has the best alarm and depth function of any Citizen watch. The new ones are sissies next to this.

This is a great watch. Plain and simple. It has been in the market so long that I ve made friends just because they worn the same one. It is a scuba watch, not a free dive one ( you can log the depth of the deepest dive during the same day actually). My onyl concern is the depth sensor, I have to watch for sand not getting in it. Its opperational temperature is also limited (above 8C according to the instruction manual)
