Poseidon Cyklon 5000 Metal:
Introdotto per la prima volta nel 1958, è stato il primo erogatore al mondo con frusta singola e la valvola a domanda situata al livello della bocca, stabilendo il nuovo standard mondiale per erogatori da immersione.
Grazie alla sua progettazione e costruzione di alto livello, il Cyklon è ancora la prima scelta della Marina Tedesca e di molte altre.

This i the best regulator i have ever used , it is perfeckt for the one who is clumsy whit there gear u can drag it in the sand drop it on the ground and not worry it will stil work.trow it away after use dont rinse just let it lay ther and it will still work when u pick it up again(none of this behavior is recomended take care of u gare) it can take abuse like no one else
Cyklon vs. jetstream

I have both the Cyklon and Jetstream. I bought the Jetsteam first and was very happy with it. But I got the Cyklon sssssooo cheap that I had to get it. Bottom line is that the Jetstream is a better regulator. I muck around on the bottom of lakes and the Cyklon would always get clogged with sand and debris-but not the Jetstream. And the Jetstream has a positive pressure beathe-it almost breathes for you!!!!-some don't like this but I love it. The high I.S. pressure of the Cyklon necessitates the use of another Cyklon as the safe second. Jetstream is my favorite reg-even more than my Apeks TX50....yeah, I have one of those too. -M

I've been diving since 1977. I'm a PADI Master Trainer. For years I dove with a Cyklon 300. I've tried Scubapro pilots w/mk 25, Dacor Pacers, US Divers JM C's Pro Line, and Oceanic DX5/Zeta I know some are old school but now it's time to return to the best (since I don't work for a shop anymore and can dive with any reg I like) I see there isn't a new 300 so the metal 5000 is in the picture. Long live the pilot value Poseidon.

Been diving since 1985 and did my military service as a marine diver. Have used the Cyclone in both worlds simply because its souch a work horse and so comfortable. My old one from 1986 has been so abused in mud, silt, sand and corals and just refuses to fail. Have used it tropical waters aswell as arctic enviroments (-1 C) without a glitch. Did my first (real) service two years ago and all the parts thats has to be changed were still in full working condition. No wonder that most of the worlds military divers use it. My only problem is to keep it away from my girlfriend who also preferes it to her Apeks TX50. Go Gothenburg!

I started diving in -86. Bought my Cyclone 5000 Metal then. More than 500 dives with the Cyclone over the years with no problems. It can take all the abuse you can imagine. Bought one Jetstream(Maximum) some yars later and switches between them. The Jetstream is a little bit more comfortable with the almost zero breathing resistance, but I prefer the Cyclon nevertheless. My Poseidon regulators has never failed or malfunctioned, thats the bottom line. Poseidon: the best regulators, period!
