Building off the success of our acclaimed Expedition series, the Expedition Star provides the latest in LED technology. Military tested tough; the same model as supplied to the US/NATO militaries.
This flashlight utilizes specialized optics to produce an ultra-tight 6-degree beam pattern. This "spot" beam pattern enables the Expedition Star to cut through fog and smoke.
Burn time is 15+ hours at full power with an additional 50 hours of usable light as the batteries run down. Double O-ring seals give this waterproof light an underwater depth rating of 500 feet. Includes, at no additional charge: an adjustable, cushioned wrist lanyard and rubber glare guard

This is a very good lamp with a fantastic combination of LED efficiency, cheap price, solid performance. It is a spectacular thing to use a dive light for over twenty dives in winter, including multiple long night dives in cold water (4degC)... all on the original set of Rayovac batteries that it was delivered with, and the thing STILL is as bright as the first time I ever turned it on. Im still waiting for it to go flat! I am seriously considering buying another of these lights in the near future, and at this incredibly low price it beats the alternative of a huge heavy and expensive light which would need to be recharged after only 1 to 2 dives. If youre looking for a cheap backup light, or a small main light, this is a great choice, its probably also a fantastic choice for guides, boats, resorts etc who offer night diving because its cheap, reliable and efficient.
