For underwater hockey , I found the fins loose in the heel and tight on the toes, slower to turn and hard on the ankles, doesnt have the speed of the alas.

great fins for lightweight individuals in tropical diving locales. comfortable foot pocket, efficient power transfer. Decent power for minimal effort and good manueverability too. Also, pratically the lightest fins I've ever come across.

Bought them for my wife to swim in pool in a period of recovery after an injury. She/I liked them for their lightness and flexibility. The fins did perform very well in that period - I am thankful to Mares for the thought in the design and standard of manufacture. Later, after recovery, she used them on many occasions for scuba (small dives, swim around matching the currant) and few times sprint-chaseing after the passing dolphin pods. The Volo Race are comfortable and functional. They give and do not take. Apparently these fins can deliver some speed too when swimming on the surface.

I consider myself lucky as the fins were a PERFECT fit size wise. Swimming was a bit awkward at first this was due to the fins beeing a wee bit wider than I am used to, hence you really have to twist your lower body more than what is required with smaller fins. Once I nailed the technique I was astounded by the speed I gained. A great buy ****

Son buenas aletas con mar tranquila faciles de aletear y con buena respuesta. Con corrientes la cosa cambia un poco y se nota cierta falta de potencia para hacer skin diving. Pero aun asi resultan aceptables. Sin embargo prefiero las Mares Superchannel que ofrecen mejor respuesta para mis condiciones de peso y altura.
