Overall this is a great computer. It offers 3 modes and has a very easy to read display. The 3 buttons are exceptionally nice when accessing the features the Vyper has to offer. If you're looking for an easy to use, conservative computer, give the Vyper a try.

The Vyper is about as good as it gets with its slim wrist mount design and large easy to read display. Its big advantage is "gauge" mode for serious deco diving with accurate depth recording down to 183meters/600feet. Many of the technical divers are replacing their older UWATEC bottom timer/depth gauge with this device as the new UWATEC's have a limit of around 100meters/325feet. The Vyper is also an EAN computer. Now if it just did more than one EAN mix, it would be worth its weight in gold!!! Suunto has produced a beautiful product at an excellent price with their Vyper product which is equally at home for recreational EAN or technical diving.

Very good computer, at an affordable price. What is lacking of course is the manometer integration and related info, but you can get that with the Vytec (which is pretty much the same system). The large display is very easy to read, and all the info is right there, no need to go and push buttons during the dive.

Bought it on Wed. and it was here by Tues. and ready to take to MX on Saturday. I used it all week and it worked great. Large display and easy to follow manual (had to down load english ver. from web site) Easy to follow menu along with nice, large, heavy duty strap to fit around 3mm/7mm and large wrists! Great computer and great service with diveinn.

Everything has been told about this great dive computer so I prefer write some lines about scubastore service: TERRIFIC - for the lowest price I have seen on the internet - ordered a friday afternoon, I have been delivered it at home on next wednesday morning (I live in Guadeloupe) by DHL - they sent me a french owner's manual (according to the destination I suppose) which is a plus - and guess what ? The Suunto is waterproof :)

Have just ordered and received (today) the Suunto Vyper via Scubastore. The product is perfect and arrived in time. However the minimum price guarantee is a farce. I have found the same instrument with Diveshopper.com with a pricedifference of more than 40 euro's. And now all of a sudden this doesnt validate and Scubastore is not willing to give storecredit for the difference (I didnt even ask for a refund). Make sure you've checked every other internet store before ordering with Scubastore.

I'm at over 500 dives on my vyper from 15ft shore dives to 200ft profiles. It has never been in computer mode as the computer part is too conservative. The guage mode with temp is what I love. I've only changed the batteries once. It has never freaked out on me like the Atmos Pro it replaced. The download software works, right out of the box. Oceanic can't say that either. You don't need anything more and shouldn't seattle for anything less.

Vyper: This computer is perfect if you dont need air integration. There is no relevant information missing and everything can be read instinctively within a short view. The buttons are kind of hard to push but you get used to it and its better than to push them by mistake. The Vyper was delivered with 2 plastic cover shields. I think you cant get a better computer for that money. Scubastore: Everything was perfect! Qick response and fast delivery, thank you very much.

First had experience of the Suunto Vyper when a diving buddy brought one on a diving holiday with us. Fantastic piece of kit and instantly became a must have for me. Simple and easy to use with a great breadth of applications. Shopping around, Scubastore was definitely the cheapest online (including P&P). DHL online tracking gave complete piece of mind and the item arrived in 3 working days. The only gripe is the manual is provided in Spanish, but there is an electronic version on their website. Would definitely recommend both the Suunto Vyper and Scubastore to friends.

I?m owning Vyper from last August (great service from scubastore) and I have around 20 dives with it. Very good computer and really excellent value for money, practical easy menu, easy to read screen. The only thing I do not like is a small and negligible point: the temperature indication shows the actual temperature but it keeps on it?s memory/log file only the temperature at the dive start/end and at the maximum deep. I would prefer to have also logged the min. temp. of the dive.

equipe sympas mais le probleme: manuel en espagnol alors jai beau parloter espagnol mais la ça devient compliqué de plus pas moyen davoir celui-ci en francais sauf la telecharger sur internet (conceil du web master qui mexplique quils doivent respecter lenvironement ) moi je paye 200 euros un produit et je suis obligé daller sur internet et telecharger le manuel et limprimer ( lenvironement alors!!! desole mais je ne me vois pas avec mon ordi sur u bateau pour verifier certains trucs que jaurais pas compris , sinon à part cette prise de tete si vous parlez espagnol cest un super site trés sérieux ET TRES RAPIDE FAUT AUSSI DES BONS COTE le web master est trés patient aussi . merci
