This regulator is X-stream! I was satisfied with my old Jetstream, except there was no built in anti freeze protection. Xstream has built in anti freeze protection and the inhale resistance is less than Jetstream. Be careful with the purge button, it can blow your mask off :-)

Being a proffesional diver and working in a dive store with regulator service, i`ve dived with most of the regulators out there, and there is NO OTHER like this reg! Exceptionally easy to breath, the only one aproved to 200meters and also aproved acording to the Norwegian "north sea standard" (also the only one), no other reg. is so easy to breathe on and deliver so much air. In any tests, in any temperature or working conditions, nothing else comes even close! In other words, iv`ve dived the most, in the worst conditions, and it`s no other reg i ever wanna use again! To bad, the price reflects the performance, cause it`s leagues above anything else!

Its a reason why Gomez used this regulator when he set the world record to 318m!! During tests, it required 0.07 joule to breathe on 150 metres! I do regulator service for a living and the first stage is the key! Like nothing else, its a revolution in design and construction. U barely notice you are breathing on a regulator at all!!

I have used this great reg to a 120 meters in the Red Sea, the performance is exceptional, unbeatable ease of breathing with minimum resistance at depth. I would recommend this reg to any serious deep diver. So if you're a deep dive fanatic, then this is the piece you should be using.

Important information about regulators Poseidon Xstream It was found in the past that the entry of salt water inside the 1st floor due to a bad technique for washing or by use of decompression in bottles with the tap closed, in some cases could cause corrosion of the sphere of high-pressure valve . The corrosion could lead to a malfunction of the 1st floor. In order to improve this aspect and make it resistant to the regulator errors washing, Poseidon has developed a synthetic ball in ruby, which exceeds the supply of steel ball, and is not liable to be oxidized. The new regulators Xstream Deep MK3 and Xstream Duration come already equipped with ruby ball, and other new features. For more information see www.poseidon.se

I just wanted to add my praise to this brand an the exceptional quality of their regulators. Myself and three friends all bought these (main and occy, of course theyre the same reg to ensure highest quality!) and after adjusting these to our individual preferences these breath as well at 5m as they do @ 50m+. Have dived Atomics, APEX and a number of other deep regs before and these Poseidons easily match the quality and come in with a much better price. The side vent will change the way you look at regs (it really is that good) and the faultless quality and workmanship is obvious. A must buy for any serious diver!
