I liked the style of the Mares, Plana Avanti Quattro Fins. When I saw what my local dive shop wanted for them, I decided to visit Diveinn. I was amazed at the great prices! i dive in strong currents and hit deep dives that require a fast negative decent... i know theese have kick in em but is it that much stronger than the volo's? will the volo's do the job as well or do i need theese fins?

I have been using these fins since 1994. They are light and provide ample thrust without fatigue. I have never had a cramp or muscle pain using these fins. I paid 0 originally. These fins are the oldest piece of equipment in my scuba gear bag and are still in great shape, even with repetitive beach diving. You cannot go wrong these fins, whether you have strong or weak legs.

After my second pair of Mares, I decided NOT to by them again ! They are more expensive, you pay for the label and usually the blades are good but usually the strap attachments are pretty bad, specially when a single and small pin was design to hold so much strength at the fins clip !! Of course it will break at some stage. Around the world dive buddies have encountered the same experience! IF YOU DESIGN A MORE EFFICIENT CLIP FOR THE STRAPS, IT WILL ONE OF THE BEST FINS

The Avanti Quattro is an excellent Dive Fin. Fits great with the Mares Boot. Very good for fighting strong current. The only problem is that some times I forget to put the red switch on the buckle in the close position and it opens on me in rough seas. Other wise it's an excellent dive fin. My diving bodies all have the split fin type and they just cant keep up. The close foot Avanti Quattro Power is also a very good fin if you like the close foot. Adios, Come Mierdas

Excellent fins

I have been using these since 1995. Very easy on your legs, provide plenty of thrust and maneuvarability. The straps are without peer, set it to your desired tightness and never hand to adjust them again. They are very easy to don or doff.

These are the best fins any diver can ever use. You have to watch out for the buckles though , they are a bit fragile and can sometimes break. I used those fins in Extreme current conditions in the Red sea and their performance was outstanding. I strongly recommend them for the serious divers out there..

If you have problems with the straps or buckles, just install some spring straps on the Quattros. Attach shackles to the posts and attach stainless steel springs to the shackles. They work great. You can make them yourself or buy them online from a few different places.

Terrific all-round fins let down by the straps - I broke several fingernails on them - but I have fixed all that by fitting a pair of stainless steel spring fins, and in my opinion they are now almost unbeatable. Comfortable, powerful, and easy to get on and off!

Hey! Im consider to buy these fins, and im going to use them at diving with oxygen (most of the time) but also to spearfishing. But i got a bit weak angles, so what are your opinion, will they be to stiff? And are their some others you can recomand instead? Thanks
