Kowalski Maxum 1250 Li-Ion:
The 1250 Maxum is the latest in the Kowalski 1250 range. It is fitted with Lithium Ion batteries which are much lighter in weight (both in and out of the water), give a much longer burn time and are easier to manage than its predecessors. This torch will totally replace both the 1250 Classic and the 1250 Speed during September 2008

Este foco desprende un buen chorro de luz caliente. Aunque como todos los de este tipo, consume batería, con el regulador de potencia se puede alargar bastante su uso sin recarga. A mi me ha llegado a durar casi tres inmersiones sin recargar, alternando entre una posiciones cercanas a la máxima y cercanas, aunque sin llegar, al mínimo (que en aguas turbias, cuando verdaderamente se necesita, es claramente suficiente). Se agradece también que el tiempo de recarga sea tan corto. Y una última ventaja que veo: las carcasas spot y flood se pueden cambiar manualmente por el usuario, con lo que por un poco más de dinero es como tener dos linternas, una para aguas turbias o visibilidad limitada y otra para nocturnas. El precio es alto pero todo esto lo hace razonable.
