I ordered this buoy from the scuba store and it arrived here to me in Ireland 3 days later. I am very impressed with the efficiency of fulfilling my order (although one of the automated emails I received was in Spanish - never mind, Google translate helped me out ;-) I am going on a live-aboard trip to Egypt soon, and it seems that SMB is mandatory equipment for all attendees, so this seemed like a cheap, small and functional buoy to buy. I liked the addition of the whistle, as sometimes attracting the dive boat can be tricky. 10 meters of line seems perfectly fine for deco stop. I will need to add a weight of some sort to the end of the line to make it easier to use, and perhaps a knot at 5m. The "wallet" itself is as big as a paperback book and a little weighty (about 600g), but there are two clips that will allow it to connect to the BCD, so Im not worried about it being in my way. I havent actually used it yet, so dont know what it will be like to operate - Im hoping the simplicity will win out in the end I cant see why anyone would want a different deco/SMB buoy (unless of course for some kind of technical diving).
