I used my new Archimede for the first time and was overjoyed with how simple and effective it was to use. The display is very easy to read, even in dark conditions. It is also very user friendly. I am definitely 100% satisfied with this computer.

I've logged well over 2000 dives and this is the best and easiest computer I have ever used. With large display and easy to use controls, even with thick gloves, you will not find a better computer.

Diving with archimede

Did my third dive with the Archimede last weekend. Although I have only used it a few times I already know it well enough to be able to relax when using it. It is very easy to use and its size is perfect. Once again Cressi shows us how things are done properly.
Decompression dives

Whilst reading the manual I was surprised to see a warning saying that the archimede should not be used for decompression dives (even though it calculates the decompression stops for a dive beyond the security zone). Is this simply a disclaimer by Cressi or have I just bought a computer that can be used in the security zone only?

This is a bad computer with very low alarm sounds (could not hear it in the water). And almost no light at all, could not see the differance with and without light in the water.

Best dual mix on market

Looking High and low at computers, not cashed up enopugh to buy a VR3 i went on the hunt for a computer that would handle rich DECO mixes (yep up to 100%) The Cressi Simply kicks butt in every aspect, great computer, even in complete pitch black, simulated dual light failure, the computer backlight still works great, gas switches are as easy as pie, and the DECO algorithms match damn close to Abyss and V-Planner!! With Over 100 hours on this computer i can happily say, until i really want a computer that does helium.. im happy!! And well, bad to say here i guess, but bought computer locally in Australia for less than SS..

This is an excellent computer, easy to use, easy to read underwater. Alarms are clearly audible underwater, and light is enough to read computer even in night conditions. Just bad point: computer connection as an option...
Cressi archimedes ii
Después de mis 3 primeras inmersiones con el Cressi Archimedes II puedo decir que es una compra exitosa porque el ordenador transmite una gran cantidad de información y de muy fácil lectura bajo el agua. Lo recomiendo especialmente para aquellos que están empezando y también para aquellos que buscan comodidad en las inmersiones.

Yes, you can use the archimede for freediving but in our opinion is some big. We recommend the Edy or the D4.
