the x vision rules, i got a zero 9 from diveinn before i noticed that they sold the x vision here, but i managed to swap it at my local dive shop for an x vision. it is the most comfortable mask i've used and provides a great field of view, although i haven't tried the cressi big eyes yet, and don't know which is better.

How is this mask comapred to the cressi big eyes??

Anyone owns both?? Or did anyone here test dived both of them?? I would really like to hear your opinion.

Both of these masks are are very good masks.The Big eye has a little more downward vision. But I have a narrow face and the XVISION fits perfect.Mares shirts seems to seal better than the Cressi.The nod goes to the XVISION for good vision and superior fit.

I have dove both, each about two years and found that the x-vision is tremendously better. Much less flooding. I had to constantly clear my big eyes with no such problem with the Mares. The facial seal seems much better. Before the x-vision I contenplated the Horizon (the revised big eye mask), but am glad I went with the Mares x-vision instead.

It's not an easy choice between this and the Cressi Big Eyes. It is true that the alround vision is very slightly less with the Mares. But after looking at all the reviews (magazines & internet) and trying them side by side The Mares Xvision is the winner. It's has a better skirt, so your not contunually clearing your mask, Plus its it has a stonger frame, and this is a major plus on a lot of dive boats. Top marks again Mares.

Probably the best mask available. Had it in black and lost it. Just received a new one from scubastore. The clear silicone version gives you a better view underwater (more sunlight getting in). Many thanks to Scubastore. I did received the product in 5 days with no problems (DHL works great).

I just tried out this mask in the Atlantic off Tenrife and found it v. good. Its a bit hard to clear underwater due to the excelent fit. But I think thats a bonus! No LEAKS! This is the 3rd time Ive shopped with Diveinn and as always Im very impressed, great customer service and even help after a mistake was made with my order. Keep up the good work!

I've got X Vision, Big Eyes and Matrix... For me, X Vision by Mares is much much better than Big Eyes by Cressi, but if you give a try to the Matrix mask, perhaps you'll never want any other one cause it's simply perfect without any doubt. Terrific, believe me.

If you going to get a mask then get this one, its is one of the best, its extremely comfortable with an excellent field of view. If your for the cressi, I've tried the Cressi big eyes and found it cut into the bridge of my nose the one to get is the Cressi horizon just as good as the Xvision in both comfort and field of view

help please, which has less volume, cressi matrix, horizon / mares x vision. How much more volume than the cressi minima. Which do you recomend recomend and why

Like I've said in the comments at the Mission 2C page: "ScubaStore is the best!" Anyway, I've dived with several masks. This time I was hesitating between the Cressi Horizon and the X-Vision of Mares. Unfortunately I can't tell anything about the horizon. But what I can say is that, after purchasing the X-vision here, it's the best mask I ever dived with! Both the field of vision as well as the fit (seal) are extraordinary! I ordered it in transparent-blue; don't be afraid you'll get a ridiculous purple/blue mask (like other brands), cause it's nice bright/dark blue.

Xvision with prescription lenses - spearfishing

Great mask for ordering with optical lenses. no leakage on lightest strap tightness. great field of view, and low volume. Prescription lenses are thinker and lower volume even more. LARGE NOSE POCKET. My nose is an average size, and its a little hard to pinch in there for EQuing. Only slightly neg. comment. But more to do with my face!

I've had the same X-Vision Mask for 5 or 6 years now, best mask I've ever used. If I ever lose this one or if it ever breaks, I'll be cmoing back for another X-Vision without a doubt.

the internal volume is about 140ml with an "average male face". quite a bit more than the advertised 110ml. It is quite flexible though. I have used it freediving over 40M, but am looking for a lower volume replacement.

Je suis super contente de ce masque qui est vraiment au top !!! Jai fait adapté des verres correcteurs et je vois comme si javais encore mes lunettes dans le masque. Ce site est vraiment génial !!! Et noublions pas la livraison en un peu plus de 48h en france !!!

I got this mask last year and tried it on for a couple of dives. But I had to go back to my old mask when this mask did not fit perfectly. I felt a pressure on my nose so bad I cant use it no more.

Hello. I am going to buy a pair of x-vision masks, but are wondering if a dark (black) silicon mask will give me better view to the outside world than a transparent one because of a smaller amount of backlight? Does anyone have experience with this kind of "issue"? Sorry for my bad enlish.
