I just bought my Kowalski 12100-D-7 Wonderful!!! It can not be described enough just how good this torch works. when i go diving i simply light up the whole underwater world. :) I see new colours that i have not seen before. the light is very "clean" not yellow at all. The capasity is very good to. last at least 45min. if i use the dimmer to adjust the most sutable output i have used it for 57 min witch is the longest dive i have ever had. So i realy can recomend it. :) any cuestions just E-mail me and i will answer any of your questions :)

You don´t need a lamp....you need a kowalski!!!
Holy diver
Speed 12100D-7 is the best! It´s amazing, the dive gets 10 times better!!! And I recomend the flood beam, then you have about 3-8 meters of perfect sight in a circle when you dive at night. It´s extreamly cool.... but the other divers might complain.... its like meeting a truck at night they say.... lol :-)
100 spanking watt
Sunbeam
Awesome light, almost too bright at full blast (quite similar to those terrible HIDs), but unfortunately too short burn time... :-( When discharging the lamp in a bucket of water, the temperature of the water actually increases, that's what them Watts do! Holy smoke, this is some powerful stuff! But I'd rather sacrifice a few Watt to have light a little bit longer.

I have used several Kowalski lamps over the year and have both good and less good experiences with them. + The lamps are robust and can take quite some beating. + My favourite are the wet contacts saving you from ever having to open the lamps and worry about O-rings except the rare occasion when you need to change the bulb. This is just a fantastic aspect of the kowalksi range that I dont see many other brands use. + The amount of light output is fantastic. Not too white light and generally good spread on the beam. However: -Kowalski lamps suffer from much to short burn times. E.g. 45 minutes burn time is absolutely not long enough. This is also the maximum time for some lamps and in reality you can expect less time before you have to employ your secondary lamp/torch. -The laps are heavy. Catch a flight to your diving destination and you will see just how heavy. -The battery life span is too low and you can expect to change them just right after the warranty is out. This cost alomst as much as buying a new lamp all together. -After about three years you can expect about 20-25 minute burntime from the battery. Conclusion: Fantastic light source when you get it new but dont plan on a long life for it.
