This is an excellent light that can be used as a primary light if you don't like big lights[good wide floodlight and very bright 7.5 watts]as well as a good back up light, as it is small enough for a large BCD pocket. I had one for several years without a problem. Only thing I don't like is the magnetic switch, it is easily pushed forward, they should put a lock on it. It is the original Princeton "Surge'.
