kit para reguladores no preparados para aguas frías. Los reguladores que no estan preparados para aguas frías al helarse tienen flujo continuo en la 2da etapa. El FREEFLOW CONTROL DEVICE Ayuda a prevenir ese flujo contínuo. Hecho para los reguladores que usan en el latiguillo un adaptador estandar 9/16" UNF.

Hi, As an ice diver, this device look very useful. When you enter under the ice, your second stage may freeze. The normal procedure is to surface and have somebody at the surface close your bottle valve and drop hot water from a thermos, on your second stage. With the help of the freeflow control device you can stop the flow to the second stage, resurface and have your regulator unfreeze. My only concern is if the first stage is responsible for the freeflow, shutting the flow with this device would blow-out the second stage hose and possibly damage the first stage balance chamber diaphragm.

Just a precision on the blow hose case. It might result only in a double configuration with the octopus connected to the second first stage. It mean that if your prime first stage don?t have any downstream accessories, this device may be risky to use.
